There are spoilers not just for the game but for the entire Harry Potter books series in the variant threads.

So, if you haven't read the books, I wouldn't read the variant threads.

A glaring example that spoils nearly every major reveal is:

A plethora of variants to use as you wish

But I'm sure there are others.

It's been nearly 10 years since the last book came out, and 5 since the last film came out.

I'm not trying to sound entitled, but if you're worried about spoilers regarding the storyline of Harry Potter, I think you should stop reading internet forums and pick up and read the books instead.

If the variants actually had gameplay spoilers, then I'd see it fit to add the spoiler warning.

It's been too long, you can't be coddled away from story spoilers your whole life. Heck, I haven't seen Psycho and I know the twist at the end.

It's worth noting that the game itself has spoilers for the books. For example, in Year One

in Year Two

Basilisk and Tom Riddle are revealed as villains

in Year Three

Peter Pettigrew is revealed as a villain

in Year Four

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Barty Crouch Jr. is revealed as a villain

All four of those are things that aren't actually revealed until the end of the book. Even if you've read book six and not book seven (what are you waiting for?), the Year Six portion of the game can spoil book seven by

Severus Snape is NOT revealed as a villain
