As it happens a certain Laura Vandenbosch did her Doctoral thesis at the School for Mass Communication Research in Leuven on something quite close to this regarding the effect of porn on adolescents. She received a national prize for her work.

Her conclusions - as one might expect - are rather nuanced. Trying to summarise what she found:

1) The effect of porn is different depending on which stage of puberty the adolescent is exposed to it. When exposed to it at an early stage of adolescence a teenager is more likely to have early (pre-18) sexual contact (not necessarily intercourse) whilst if they are exposed/consumer porn later in puberty this actually restrains them from having early sexual contact;

2) Adolescent boys consumer vastly more porn than adolescent girls (factor 40 difference). All respondents are actively aware its fantasy and not reality;

3) Large porn consumers tend to view sexual contact in a more technical way. They want to experience some or all of the positions. Their sexual experiences lack intimacy compared to those that don't consume porn.

4) Girls that consumer porn and/or a lot of media portraying the standard beauty norm would be much more concerned with how they look having sex rather than enjoying it or being intimate. They would be more self-conscious about their bodies and prefer sex in the dark.

The author claims she does not moralise but she does have an unproven theory (she says) that the technical approach to sex may lead to sexual violence by boys later down the line as they lose sight of intimacy and consent.

as I mentioned, I have a touch of skepticism because from what I read, a majority (a high majority) of the researchers papers are on the negative effects of porn on kids, so it kind of smells of advocacy to me.

On the other hand, I'm not really qualified to analyze her work, so...
