There's no simple explanation for anything important any of us do, and yeah the human tragedy consists of the necessity of living with the consequences, under pressure, under pressure. -Courage (For Hugh Maclennan): The Tragically Hip

Or will Canada's contribution to the war be glossed over as it is in so many other games, movies, books, etc.?

There are no individual units in the game just general strength points from my understanding, French, Commonwealth and when it's all just about over a few Americans show up.yuk

Australian and Canadian forces are part of the commonwealth forces.

so for the combat from memory you roll a d6 for every strength point, 5 or 6 is a hit.

If a 6 is rolled when fighting with the commonwealth forces that obviously means the elit Australian or Canadian forces were there.

If every roll when fighting with commonwealth is a 1 that obviously means it was just the English with no colonial troops providing back bone.

(my opinion may vary from real history and or game rules)

No, that sounds pretty close to being historically accurate.

Tim is correct.

The decision not to distinguish blocks by division was made early in the design process. Fields allows you to transfer strength points between blocks that are in the same hex, or combine two blocks into a single larger block. For example, a hex containing two 4-step blocks could reorganize into a single 8-step block, or into a 3-step block and 5-step block, etc. This freedom to transfer strength points between blocks, which makes Fields unique, drove the decision for a single flag to identify which blocks transfers could be made between.

Regards,
Kurt
