BoardGameGeek and Fantasy Flight are offering some products thru Cafepress using the great logo that Ryan Johnson (aka Ryno8) created for us.

I put the American soldier geek logo on the majority of the products. The tote bag has both logos - one on each side. These items are being sold at the base price from Cafepress.

An ash I know, Yggdrasil its name. With water white is the great tree wet; thence come the dews that fall in the dales. Green by Urth's well does it ever grow.

Are they coming in 18 months via a slow boat from Inner Mongolia?

That explains the "Tide of Iron" image in place of the regular BGG logo on every page

When are you going to have your normal BGG T-shirts available again? You don't have size XL available in anything.

Does the image of the smiling Nazi running with his hand-grenade strike anyone else as incongruous to say the least?

Not all German soldiers in WWII were "Nazi's" but that was an amusing observation nonetheless...

Great Design, but Cafe Press dose just about the most un-even prints I've ever seen. I got a shirt from there once and washed it, and half the design came off.

I would have liked to have bought both shirts, in different dark colors (grey and green?). Then I could wear the appropriate model depending on which side my son chooses....of course it would be nice to actually have the darn game!

I had thought the same thing, but figured I would be the only one.

I would definately buy a few of these if they were available.

I would say that since it is not a Nazi... no.

It is, in fact, boardgamegeek.com's cartoon icon dressed up as a piece from a long awaited international (not to mention historic) boardgame. Look, he even has a Col. Klink monocle.

If it was to be taken seriously... anyone with the correct info would realize that he is in a Wermacht uniform.

Wermacht: the name of the unified armed forces of Germany from 1935 to 1945.

Politics of the Wehrmacht
Due to the constitution of Weimar Republic any soldier of the Reichswehr was neither allowed to become a member of a political party nor to vote in an election because there was a strict separation between politics and the armed forces. The same applied later to the Wehrmacht. Most of its leadership was politically conservative and therefore not in favour of a Nazi revolution conducted by “uneducated proletarians". But after Hitler gained power he had promised to rebuild Germany's military strength and thus some officers became sympathetic towards the National Socialist movement. Political influence in the military command began to increase later in the war when Hitler's flawed strategic decisions began showing up as serious defeats for the German army and tensions mounted between the military and the government. Not only did Hitler appoint unqualified personnel to lead his armies[citation needed], but also gave to his commanders impossible orders, such as to shoot all officers and enlisted men who retreated from a front line.

German Resistance: Wehrmacht resistance to the Nazi regime
From all groups of German Resistance those within the Wehrmacht were the most feared by the Nazis. There were several attempts by members of the Wehrmacht like Henning von Tresckow or Erich Hoepner to assassinate Hitler as an ignition of a coup d'état. Rudolf Christoph Freiherr von Gersdorff and Axel Freiherr von dem Bussche-Streithorst even tried to do so by suicide bombing. Those and many other officers in the Wehrmacht such as Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg and Wilhelm Canaris strictly declined the atrocities of the Hitler regime. Combined with Hitler's problematic if not senseless military leadership, this also culminated in the famous July 20 plot (1944), when a group of Wehrmacht officers led by von Stauffenberg tried again to kill Hitler and overthrow his regime. Following this attempt every officer of the Wehrmacht who approached Hitler was searched from head to foot by his SS guards. As a special degradation all German military personal were ordered to replace the standard military salute with the Hitler salute from this date on. To which extent the German military forces were in opposition to the Hitler regime or supported it is nevertheless highly disputed amongst historians up to our days.

Thank you for your input.

I'll follow this post with the larger versions of each:
