What is the best way to record video as it appears on the computer screen?

I have tried fraps but the trial version does not record anything it seems unresponsive. The fraps website says I should update my video driver but everything else is working so well I don't really want to do that.

I have an ATI all in wonder '06. I am thinking of doing a loop back on the video card but there has to be another program that can do it.

I'm lazy and use ALT-PrtScn button combination, paste it into a Word document and print it out. I also use Paint.

You're in luck! Ive just released a beta version of a screen capturing program able to record screen activity, choosing various resolutions etc, and saving it into an .wmv file! If you want to give it a go, check it out here!

Hope it works out for you..

Cheers!
