This hardly needs mentioning, but I'm gonna do it anyway ...

For a lengthier, meatier 2-player experience use the 3-4 player side of the board. Each player chooses to play with two colors (instead of one) and mixes all of the associated chits together in one bag from which to draw during their turn. Start with your chosen colors on opposing corners and draw for the starting chits as usual (repeating and then replacing, if necessary, to get the proper color). Then draw and play one chit per turn per the usual rules and play until your chits are either depleted or you cannot play any longer with either color (discarding, if necessary, a drawn color that has no legal move). Tally up your 1st and 2nd place points for both colors and whoever has the highest total wins!
