We're finally getting this to the table this week, but I have a couple questions that I'm hoping to resolve first... just in case they come up. I searched but haven't found the answers, so any help is appreciated!

1) In light of Jay's post from 2011 (quoted below), can you place on the mine a "pair" made up of a single master and a single regular unit, and then collect only one resource? Or would you have to put the unmatched master somewhere else?

jcormier wrote:
You can only place elves in the Forest, dwarves in the Quarry and pairs of each in the Metal Mines.

2) Just to confirm - you don't place a worker on a guild space to build it. You only have to pay during the actions phase. In fact you could build a guild that has someone else's worker on it still.

3) Also just to confirm - A gnome locked ability that doesn't have a plank (like the blacksmith) doesn't require a worker be placed to use it, while a card like the Inn has the plank itself locked, and once unlocked would require a worker to use.

Re: A few questions from a new player
1. A master/regular pair is fine. But like you said, you only gain one metal

2. Correct

3. Correct

Have fun!

EDIT: Typo

Re: A few questions from a new player
1. From your example - if you meant "single master elf" and "single regular dwarf" (or vice versa), then you would collect just one metal. The Master worker's power wouldn't have any additional effect.

2 and 3. You are correct!

Re: A few questions from a new player
Hi Dan!

I am really sorry for disturbing you, but I was asked years ago to ask everyone who wrote questions here to have a little more descriptive message as the thread tittle.

I am really sorry for asking, but could you please kindly consider this?

Thanks!
