I got frustrated with tracking Advances with all those cards, so I've uploaded an Advances Tree Chart that I whipped up.

For my games, I copied a bunch off, and just mark a sheet up for each game. When I acquire an advance, I mark it with the era I acquired it (it would be enough to just circle it, but I think it's fun to see when I got stuff). It also helps with keeping track of the total number of advances I have and with counting VPs -- which I do at the end of each era, again just for fun.

Anyway, I hope some people find it helpful!

This is a good idea. I was just thinking that a technology tree would be useful, at least to newbies, to know what techs are available early on.

Yes; it surprized me how many advances don't have dependencies. Originally, I was thinking, "Mining, Agriculture, Fishing..." but in fact there are a whole slew of advances you can get right away.

After using the sheet a couple of times, it seems like it would be nice to denote the advances that require Gold, because that represents a pretty big shift in your economy when you make that move. I didn't really come to a conclusion on how to do that -- maybe shade those boxes darker? Use a double border? Don't know.

BTW, it looks like the upload hasn't been approved yet, but it should be coming shortly
