Terra Mystica is my favourate game by far. I really enjoy games like The Gallerist, Concordia and Fields of Arle, but nothing compares to it. I am trying to find a game that has that brain - burn/no-luck/tension feeling, but I can't.So, I am asking you people, you that Terra Mystica is your favourate game, which one is your second best?

Try a good Martin Wallace game. I like Steam, but Brass fits into the same niche. Solid euro mechanics, with map position being important and plenty of opportunity for players to block each other.

Terra Mystica is my third highest rated game, my top game is Agricola. I see it on your wishlist, I'd encourage you to give it a try!

Terra Mystica is definitely in my Top 10, possibly Top 5. I would recommend you try Dominant Species... its nothing like TM, its just better for all the reasons you mentioned above.

So I'm technically not allowed in this thread since Terra Mystica is not my favorite whistle

But the ones that I find them to be of the same caliber are, specially do to the high player interaction:
Dominant Species (Mah Favorite)
Food Chain Magnate
Brass: Lancashire

TM is a very good game, but I think Madeira is even better.

I would recommend Brew Crafters -- similar to Agricola but better.

And Antike or Antike II since you enjoy Concordia.

Edit: to legitimately answer the question, Suburbia is my second favorite but it doesn't sound like it fits the criteria you're looking for.

There are 4 games I rate a 10, amd Terra Mystica is one of them. The others are:

Magic: The Gathering
Mage Knight Board Game
Dominion

None of them is very similar to TM, however.
My next favourite heavy Euros are:

Caylus
Agricola

I rate Terra Mystica at 10 at the moment. I think the fame you are looking for is Caylus because it's true zero luck open information, but Agricola is a very fine game too.

At one point, TM was in my top 10 I enjoy it because there it's a heavy, skill-based Euro. Most of my favorite games share the same qualities. Here are few of them:

Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization - Best game ever
Troyes - Second best game ever
Brass: Lancashire
Kanban: Driver's Edition
Grand Austria Hotel - Recommended with lower player counts (2-3)
Great Western Trail - This is a newcomer, but there's very little luck in this heavy, Euro showdown
Madeira
Scythe - I don't own Scythe, but after I played it, it reminded me a lot of TM

I've heard good things about A Feast for Odin. I just haven't played it yet.

Hope this helps. Good luck and have fun!

Terra Mystica is my favorite.
The other Three games I rate a 10 are

2. The Castles of Burgundy
3. Alchemists
4. Blood Rage

Though I need to play more of Alchemists and Blood rage to see if they remain that high.

Currently, 3684 people rate Terra Mystica a 10.
This list shows what other games are rated very high by at least 500 of them (unfortunately, it's no possible to exclude expansions)

As glouie and gimodude have suggested, Dominant Species plays in the same league as Terra Mystica. Imagine Terra Mystica where you are (a) allowed to dig up land where your opponents have already settled and (b) encouraged to spit on their graves after you ruined their cities.

TM is my favorite game as well. Although this isnt my next favorite game, I do like it but you should check out The Voyages of Marco Polo. There are some similarities between the two.

Thank you all for your help. I will probably wait for the next edtion of Brass. Imperial 20130 seems really good, but I like being ableto play my games with 2 players.

I have only two games rated 9: Terra Mystica and Snowdonia.

Yes, they are quite different games, but I find them both extremely enjoyable. TM gets a slight edge because it has so many more variables.

My crew that was running two TM tables nightly has largely migrated to Scythe. In addition to the other great choices suggested by others, by group also likes Imperial, Trajan, and Navegador

I also believe that you met the King of the Forest, Mei, and meeting him is a sign of good luck.
