Rules:

1. This will be an Area based game and you will have 3 Cities (regions) with 4 sub-areas each to choose from. Each player will start in a random location. So do not assume that if Niki is in the game, she will start at her house. You will choose an area each night, and will then be there the next day. All players in a City (Region) will have their own thread (they may be in separate sub-areas). The regions and sub-areas are:

City (Region) A. Odessa/Midland
1. Jeremy' old House in Midland
2. Primatech
3. Claire Bennet's School
4. Diner in Midland

City (Region) B. Las Vegas
1. Linderman's Casino
2. Linderman's Kitchen
3. Linderman's Artifact Room
4. Niki Sander's House

City (Region) C. New York
1. Kirby Plaza
2. Roof of the Deveaux Building
3. Election HQ
4. Company Lab

2. There are Good, Evil, and Other Players in the game. The Goods have 21 players at the start of the game. The Others may stay Other or be recruited to good or evil throughout the course of the game. There are 7 Evils at the start of the game, of which only 4 are Max Evils. There are 5 Others at the start of the game (1 of which is Sylar).

3. Good will win by killing the Max Evils and Sylar.

4. The victory conditions for the Evil and Other players are known only to them, but it may become apparent through the course of the game.

5. Most powers can only be targeted at other players that are in their same City (Region) (sub-area doesn't usually matter). Powers are executed before Movement. It should be clear, but if you have questions let me know via Mod Chat. The main point is that sub-area doesn't matter as far as powers go, only City (region). The sub-areas do count for certain events and stuff (i.e. you may get a chat room open if you go to a certain sub area w/ a particular player)

6. Players may be kidnapped by Primatech Field Ops. There are multiple operatives and they may not all choose to join in the kidnapp attempt. Normal Humans can be kidnapped by a single operative. Enhanced Humans take 2 operatives, but Peter and Sylar take an extra operative for each power they have in addition to their starting Powers. Peter starts only w/ his mimic power and so would take 2 operatives N1, but Sylar starts the game w/ an extra power and would take 3 N1. However if every operative joins in on the attempt, either Sylar or Peter will be kidnapped no matter how many powers they have.

7. Kidnapped players are unable to post or chat until released.

8. There are multiple roles that may kill as a night action and several roles that are able to escape kill attempts. No one is able to escape a Sylar attack unless they have a specific martyr to protect them (i.e. Ando for Hiro)

9. Roles and alignment are revealed upon death.

10. Some players start the game w/ money and may transfer that to other players in their area. Money is used for two things: Victory conditions for certain players and as a tiebreaker.

11. Ties will be broken firstly by money and then by LHLV. so if player A and B are tied, and B has the most money, A will be lynched.

12. There are other rules that are secret, but may be known by certain players and also other that may be revealed as the game progresses.

13. All chat rooms will be anonymous with each player having their Role names shown. You may reveal your identities if you wish, but take care as some people may want you dead and others may not be who they appear to be.

14. There may be a viral infection that can kill Enhanced Humans.

15. The Roles list shows some of the possible roles in the game, not all of them will be in the game of course, and the evils will each have a cover role. There may be some roles in the game that are not listed as well. All reveal plans are not prohibited, but probably not a good idea. All the Max Evils and Evils have their alignments specified. If the alignment is absent, it is either Good or Other (some Others are shown as well)

Ando Masahashi - Normal Human, Will take Hiro's place if in the Same (City) region as Hiro and Hiro is Targeted
Angela Petrelli - Max Evil
Audrey Hanson - Normal Human
Brian Davis - Enhanced Human, Tough, One shot ability to escape lynch/kill/kidnap. random player in area targeted instead.
Candice Wilmer - Evil, Enhanced Human, may morph into another player each night. they are that player to any view type powers.
Charles Devaux - Normal Human
Clair Bennet - Enhanced Human, Double Tough (escape lynch and kill once each)
Claude Rains - Enhanced Human, Cannot be viewed by normal means
D. L. Hawkins - Enhanced Human, One shot ability to escape lynch/kill/kidnap. random player in area targeted instead.
Dale Smither - Enhanced Human, will know who has viewed them
Dr. Witherson - Normal Human
Eden McCain - Evil, may move a vote each day
Hana Gitelman - Enhanced Human, will know if secret communications are occuring in their area and may intercept snippets of them
Hank - Evil, Normal Human
Heidi Petrelli - Normal Human
Hiro Nakamura - Enhanced Human, Lynch Manipulation and One Shot Kill ability
Isaac Mendez - Enhanced Human, learns about certain game events
James Walker - Enhanced Human, unknown power
Janice Parkman - Normal Human
Kaito Nakamura - Normal Human
Kimiko Nakamura - Normal Human
Matt Parkman - Enhanced Human, Empathic
Meredith Gordon - Enhanced Human, Brutal
Mohinder Suresh - Normal Human, cure infection
Molly Walker - Enhanced Human, can locate any role down to sub-area
Mr. Linderman - Max Evil, Enhanced Human, can prevent the death of another non Max Evil once per game
Nathan Petrelli - Enhanced Human, escape 1 night kill attempt
Niki Sanders - Enhanced Human, one shot kill
Noah Bennet - Other, Normal Human
Peter Petrelli - Enhanced human, mimicry
Sandra Bennet - Normal Human
Sanjog Iyer - Enhanced Human, able to PM w. one other player each day, not City (region) bound
Simone Deveaux - Normal Human
Sylar - Other, Enhanced Human, may kill another player in their City (region) and absorb their powers. starts w/ the power of one role not in the game
Ted Sprague - Enhanced Human. Brutal if lynched or killed. takes out 1d6 other players at random in their area
The Hatian - Evil, Enhanced Human, negate another's powers in the same City (region)
Thompson - Max Evil, Normal Human, may kill another player in the same City (region)
Virginia Gray - Normal Human
Zach - Normal Human
Zane Taylor - Enhanced Human, worthless ability to melt metal

Clarifications:

1. All actions are "Night Actions" unless otherwise stated.

2. To move to another area, use the "Move To" action and type the new area in the text box. you do not have to move. you do not move "to a player" you move to a place. just ignore the player drop don box for that action and instead type in the "Region - Sub Area" into the text box

3. Agreements between players are binding. So if someone agrees to pay you money for you to perform some action and you agree to the terms, the deal must be carried out to the best of your ability. this is important.

4. Most every action requires you to be in the same City (i should have called it City to begin with) as the person you are targeting. Please be aware of this when you submit your night actions. If you have any questions please ask. If you target a player in another city, you will just lose that action for the night, unless you correct the mistake before dawn. I will try and catch these sort of things, but if you are offline and miss the message from me... So be careful

5. you need to specify the location IN the city as well as the city itself, i.e. 'Las Vegas - Linderman's Casino' not just solely 'Las Vegas'. you will end up in a random location within the city you specify if you do not give one. which is fine if that is what you want

The Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally System

Your Moderator has enabled the Cassandra Automatic Vote Tally system
for this game. In order for it to function correctly, your votes will
need to be formatted correctly. The following rules will explain what
you will need to do:

Players
1. All votes must be bolded

2. The entire vote statement must be bolded and enclosed in bracekts: [vote jmilum]

3. Only one unvote and/or vote per post. You may have both an unvote
and a vote in the same post, but the unvote must come before the vote

4. You may [unvote all] instead of naming the current player
you are voting

5. If you [vote nightfall] your vote will be locked (voting
nightfall is allowed in the same post as a vote for a player, but it
must come after it, this does not violate Rule #3)

6. Vote tallies will be automatically posted to the game thread hourly
if the tally has changed. The Tally and Vote Logs (for each game day)
are also available on the Cassandra game page.

7. If your vote is not counted be sure to check the Vote Log page and
see if it was marked invalid and why.

8. Case does not matter and simple typos will not cause the vote to fail.

9. You may [vote no lynch] if your game allows it.

10. Quotes below the vote/unvote statement may cause the vote to be missed,
especially if they contain bolded sections.

11. Non voting players will be listed in the tallies. This will only be
correct if the Moderator notes which players have been killed (see below)


Moderators
1. The moderator will need to post [Dawn] when the day begins
(after the night results are posted) and [Dusk] when the lynch
deadline has passed and the day is over. Votes will not be counted
after [Dusk] has been posted. They will be registered again
after [Dawn] is next posted.

2. You may include a day number in the dawn and dusk post for
informational purposes, but it will not be used by the system.
Cassandra will increment an internal counter each time it sees
[Dawn] no matter what day is shown in a dawn post (i.e.
[Dawn 3] the three is allowed but ignored)

3. After dusk has been posted, the Moderator may go to the game page
on Cassandra to request a Final Tally to be posted before the normal
scan period has elapsed (i.e. Game Y gets scanned at 45 min. after the
hour, if it lynches at 7pm the moderator may request a tally to be
posted from the game page before 7:45pm. it will also be posted
regardless of whether or not it has been changed since the last
posting) - Do this by clicking on the 'Retrieve Final Lynch Time Vote' link.

4. You will need to note which players were killed via the lynch or at night by
either posting [killed jmilum] in the thread, or by going to the game
page and editing the player list. When posting in the thread, be sure to post
[dusk] before posting the lynch kill, and post [dawn] before
posting the night kill.
Example:
A. lynch time has passed so post [dusk]
B. goto the game page and select a final tally to be posted
C. check the final tally and post [killed melsana]
D. after the night deadline has passed post [dawn]
E. post the night kill with [killed kima]
