We've only played Belfort once, but the random guilds we pulled include the promo pack's contractor's guild.

We all thought it seems really overpowered, especially once someone buys it. Three resources for one worker!

Is it just us?

How much wood or stone do you get from the guilds that give those resources 4, right? And 3 gold from the Banker's Guild?

I don't see how this is out of line with those...

The contractor's guild is really good! But it is in line with the other resource producing guilds.

Mason's Guild: Get 4 Stone
Sawyer's Guild: Get 4 Wood
Miner's guild: Get 2 Steel

The other conversion rates in the game seem to imply that 2 stone/wood = 1 steel (You need two workers to get a steel, the rates at the trading post are doubled for steel).

So getting 1 stone, 1 wood and 1 steel is the same as getting two steel or four stone/wood.

That said, all of these guilds are very good. Having these in the game makes resources a lot easier to come by and turn order becomes more important (so you can place on the guild or build the guild to get the coins)
