Working on a robot player, my robot came up with a counter-intuitive
tactic which may or may not be legal. When replacing jokers after
a scoring move, it placed jokers to create a scoring pattern for the
other player
. I can't say at this point that it was definitely a
good move, but (handwave) it could be useful to place so the other
player scores two points immediately, instead of 3 on the next move.

So if you please, a ruling on if making a scoring pattern for
the other player ought to be permitted.

Page 3 of the rulebook, between the 2 gray examples states:

"The player then immediately replaces all Joker pieces removed on any free space on the board where they will not complete another pattern."

Yours or an opponents. So not allowed.
