If there were a Shriekback fan microbadge:

Cool! I'd scoop that one...if I had any GG.

Spooky - I've got 20 CDs bouncing around in my car right now, but the one actually in the player is disc one of "Natural History".

Priests and cannibals prehistoric animals
Everybody's happy as the dead come home
Big black nemesis parthenogenesis
No one move a muscle as the dead come home

Sorry, I'm off the microbadges. I spent all my Geekgold on them and kinda regret it.

I got to interview Barry Andrews back when I was working college radio. He was a great guy and we spent the better part of the afternoon hanging out and looking through his personal tour photos.

Shriekback has the designation of being the only band I've ever seen perform the same song twice during one show. They opened and closed that night with Nemesis (of course).

Microbadge, though? Sorry, but I'm working on a Bunnymen one first.

Was that the Big Night Music tour? I saw them play on that tour at McAllister Auditorium at Tulane. Awesome show.

They have a new album out, by the way:

Yep, Big Night Music. I have quite a bit of Shriekback vinyl, including a lot of extended mixes, etc. I'll have to transfer that to digital some day. Some day.
