We will probably play SotLT approx four times a year.

Does the base game have enough replay ability for that, or do you recommend expansions?

Thanks so much.

The base game definitely has alot of replayability. Regarding expansions... What interests you more? Scenarios? Rooms to explore? Both?

Thank you so much for your reply, sir.

We are interested in replay ability, but we are unsure if the base game scenarios are replayable, and how many scenarios there are.

Thanks, again, for your help.

The scenarios in the core game are certainly replayable, especially since you must explore the Tomb to trigger the scenario effects. So therefore you never know when things will happen. And they will always happen a bit differently each game.

I agree, you should get a lot of replay out of the base game. If you decide you like playing the base game scenarios multiple times, but want more variety from play to play, get the Passages and Perils expansion. It increases the room tile count from 50+ to 80+. If you want more creatures and items, get the Ancient Myths and Legends expansion, as it has the most new cards and 6 more scenarios!

The only one so far that has caught my eye is Fates Fortune.. Only because it introduces the possibility of betrayal in the group. I haven't bought it yet, but it is on the back burner for a weaker time than now...

Just got the game today. Looks like my kind of thing. I run a dungeon dive meet up so we will play it this year.

I noticed that some of the expansions are already out of print.

Will they be in print again?
