Please look through both my trade list: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/viewcollection.php3?username=Ch...

and my collection: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/viewcollection.php3?username=Ch...

There are plenty of things that I don't have listed specifically for trade that I would be willing to trade for one.

If you're interested please let me know what brand you have and what $ amount its worth to you (approximate). We can work out something for multiple games if it's a nicer one. Kind of an odd-ball trade offer but I thought Id give it a shot since I have so many unplayed games laying around.

Thanks

i almost bought one when i was in hawaii, but they're pretty expensive unless you buy the 'toy' ones.

I've got two Ukes--one of them is this triangular tenor uke, that is really concert sized:

$43, used to be a tad cheaper. Built like a tank, a great camping Uke, and if you put on some good strings $8 ( http://elderly.com/accessories/items/ANLU.htm )

It'll sound good (but not like a $1,000 uke). I love the portability and the sheer fun. My second Uke is a Lahaina I got for $90 from MusicGuyMike on ebay. He has a good reputation:

There are a few cheap rogues that might be ok to learn on.

Dude, my school has a TON of ukuleles, but none are great. I've found one or two that sound surprisingly decent, but are probably no better than a $40 uke. Probably not what you want, eh?

Actually a cheap one is fine, as long as it stays in tune reasonably well. I've had really good luck with my cheap guitar and I've heard that some of these cheaper ones sounded ok. I'm just learning anyway so I don't need anything fancy.

I declare this to be the greatest trade offer ever.

I wish I had a ukulele to trade you. Actually I wish I had two, because I want one too now.

The forums at http://4thpeg.com are also a good source of information concerning cheap starter ukes.

If I can take off my modesty hat for a second, I consider myself to be pretty good at the piano. I can play some guitar, so I thought the uke would be a piece of cake. Man, it isn't at all! My sausage fingers have trouble fitting between frets, and I have a hard time not thinking in guitar terms when playing.

My buddy is making an awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwesome uke for me out of a cigar box. It looks incredible. You can look online for instructions, and apparantly isn't hard to make at all.

Yeah, I've seen Ukes made from tupperware too, but the link escapes me at the moment. I find a tenor Uke a good size for my fingers, but not so large that I might as well be playing the guitar.

My next uke project will be to buy a cheap uke, remove the neck, and roll my own imitation Risa solid body electric:

The thing I love about Ukes is that they are so forgiving. And unlike boardgames, you can pick it up and play any time!

Ah, here is "The Plastic Jumping Flea" a $12 Uke!!!

Now I want a cigar box uke! They look wonderful!

there are some cool ukelele clips here for anyone interested:

while my guitar gently weeps is my favorite, watching this made me want to get a ukelele

You know, I would trade every game I have for a Wheatstone or Dipper (those are brand names) Baritone English Concertina in good condition, and I list fewer than a third of my games here on the geek.

The sad thing is, I'm not sure it would be enough.
