Does Elisa get the card back to her hand when when she plays it as an aid to a successful attack?

No, you ignore the text when you use a card to aid.

Correct. Aiding with the elven dagger is rarely worth it.

The elvish dagger card is indeed awesome and compensate well with the low stats of Eliza. (Anyway, that's the most awesome character of the game, for me!).

Yep. Elisa is very good Hero, but not an easy one to play at her full potential.

Oh yes, I forgot about this basic rule!

I certainly had a good impression from Elisa this morning. She inflicted by far the most damage with her tricks! Not sure what her full potential is, but after fireball and wall of fire, that was 7 wounds and 3 kills... not bad at all for a first time!

Yep. But always do remember that Elisas spells do inflict damage to Heroes, too, if they're caught in the midst.

Also another typical mistake is to aim fireball to an empty square - you can not do that. It has to be targeted to a miniature.

Gosh, one of the spells was cast on an empty space! gulp
There are a number of exceptions like that which are easily forgotten.
The worst for me is probably the movement penalty for threatened squares!
I should put a sticker on the board with a short list of those to remember!

Everything relevant should be in the backside of the rulebook, I think.

Never forget to boost "Grand Theater", too. That lures those horrible summoners for many turns when it has 3 HP.

Indeed. That is among the best tricks there are.
