I am a little unsure in what order it is possible to resolve a code. Does the code need to be ordered from right to left, as highlighted in the example in the rule book and represented on the code card, or can it be ordered in reverse or in a right-angle shape on the code-breaker board?

Ex.

The code to break is 1 2 4.

Can I string together a 4 2 1 reading it in reverse?
Or
1
2 4, for instance?

The numbers must be in the same order as on the card. So, it must be on the same row and you should read them from left to right.
