I am red / green color blind making many games difficult to play. Fortunately many games add symbols to help distinguish between colors. But many still use color alone and often choose poor color variations.

I love Blood Rage but found it difficult to distinguish between red and brown so I painted the minis with a color wash. I've never painted minis and it always seemed intimidating. But this was easy and fairly quick to do.

I wonder if other color blind gamers have problems with certain games over others and what they have done to make it easier to play them.

All reality is a game. Physics at its most fundamental, the very fabric of our universe, results directly from the interaction of certain fairly simple rules, and chance... (Iain Banks)
