Just a reminder : there is an expansion for SofN called "Sources of Strength" that was published in Avalon Hill's General magazine (v21, no 3). A copy of that can be found here: https://archive.org/details/GeneralMagazineVol21i3

The expansion introduces a leadership rating factor, new character classes, inter-tribal warfare, and gifting your animals.

I haven't played it yet but in a previous comment:
