Ahoy! Bought M&M for the family and we are struggling with player movement/actions.

Example: I am in port in Nassau but then wish to scout the sea zone. Does that require a "move" out of port into the sea zone and then the scout action, thus using two total actions?

What if I'm in port in Old Providence and wish to move over to Cartagena? How many moves is that? Only one?

Any help is appreciated as we are really having a hard time with what should be more obvious.

Thanks!

You must be in the sea to scout.

You must move from port to sea-zone then the next sea-zone and then back into port for a total of 3 moves if moving to the next closest port.

Hi Bryan, welcome to the best board game site on the internet!

On your first question, yes, moving out of port into the sea zone is an action and scouting is an action so it is two actions.

As stated in the above reply it takes and action to leave a port an action to move into the next sea zone, and an action to move into the port of that sea zone. Which is three actions.

Enjoy the best pirate game out there!
