In my travel kit, I have (besides Friday)

Maquis
Space Hulk Death Angel (for when a larger foot print is possible)
Pocket Civ
Onirim (1st ed.)
Urbion
Decathlon
Utopia Engine
Zombie in my Pocket

Will probably be adding Red Dawn 1st ed too.

+ 1 to Friday

I also really enjoy Tiny Epic Galaxies, there is a whole Tiny Epic series but I honk the solo experience of TEG is great.

I've also been playingOne Deck Dungeon a bunch recently. Good fun, good solo experience, and also a small footprint.

I keep all three in a desk drawer at work.

Check out The Shooting Party. It just requires a partial deck of cards, yet still manages to feel thematic (seducing party-goers for their jewels).

Onirim (second edition) is a great little solo game that's very portable and has a small footprint (I play it sitting up in bed sometimes). It's the only solo game I have right now, but there is a good amount of variety and it's pretty relaxing.

Can't believe it wasn't mentioned yet: Hostage Negotiator

It can be swingy and some people don't like the theme. But if you can deal with bad dice rolls every once in a while it's an awesome and tense experience. Super flavorful.

The base game packs a huge punch, so it should last a while.

Great at game but not really a small footprint.

The solitaire mode of Star Realms is great. Might not be that small, but it's certainly smaller than Death Angel. At just a deck of cards, it's very portable.
