Hi Hacko,

I don't have time to enter this contest at the moment, but I have added it to the contest list I maintain here: Community PnP contests and winners.

Good luck to the entrants.

Thanks JK

I know about no time.
There are always too many things to do.

I want to send decks to designers who want to design games for this deck.
I want to offer good prizes too.
There are 300 people with the deck already, so some of them can participate.
I just need to figure out details.

Will you ever continue your 55 card deck contest that you started earlier? Just curious, I would like to participate.

Which one?

I will get this one going eventually, trying to set up other games and geeklist as an example.

Just to make sure I've grasped the nature of this deck...

Fundamentally, it's a standard 52-card poker deck with four colors for four suits instead of two colors for four suits, and the name of a different game mechanic on each card.

As an added potentially useful convenience factor, each card also has its rank (1-13 for A-K) represented by one to three d6.

Have I missed anything?

There are dice on each card as well. Also the backs of the cards are a four color matching grid. I need to post that as well. This deck does stay similar to a standard poker deck but it is also part of a series of decks that will be used with each other.

I posted a better pic above. Also the jokers can be used as a game board. When the are put together, they make the design of the back of the cards.

Also there is a tracker on the left side that could be used for lives, attempts, dice rolls or a variety of things with a marker.

The backs are like the four corner card in this pic. I originally had card backs like the box cover but the white didn't work with the strong color that printed to the edges on the fronts.

Hi Hacko,

Were there any entries? I suspect your contest may have suffered from competition from the other contests going on right now.

Will you extend the deadline or re-run it another time?

Cheers,
JK
