yeah these few years seem to be the time for this type of game. KD:M looks alright.But I'd prefer something with more dungeon tiles and map variability. for me I'm stuck between the D&D board games, Sword and sorcery (which looks similar to original descent),zombicide black plague. looking for a game where you can pretty much get all the minis and all the dungeon tiles out of the box.
Hmmmm.....then you're probably looking at Descent as your best bet.
Shadows of Brimstone has a ton of extra minis available for purchase but that aren't really necessary as they include plenty of minis in the base box. KD:M, at least as far as my understanding of the game, also includes all the minis you need to play through the core game, but sells tons of extras to give the game still more variability.
