Let's say I deployed a set of generic creeps in round 1. In round 2 I deploy a set of creeps with a runner. Can the group with the runner move all the way forward to the front lines, jumping the creeps from round 1? Or do the runners only move as far until they hit a friendly miniature?
I don't believe a wave with a Runner will ever jump over a wave in front, for 2 reasons.
#1, in any given lane, the wave that is closest to the opposing spawn point moves first, followed by the 2nd closest wave, 3rd closest, and so on. I imagine this is to prevent reason #2 from occurring more frequently than it should
#2, if the next field any given wave advances towards contains a friendly creep wave, the wave in back must stop, and then the player may choose to merge the rear wave into the front wave
So in this instance, the wave in the rear containing the Runner would not jump the wave in front because they would stop immediately behind the wave in front and allow the option of merging into the front
