I understand this is probably part of the larger how do you log plays question, but...

Do most people log one round as one game as the play time indicates that's how long a game takes (20 minutes)? In the rules it says you can play a number of rounds as a game with the winner getting 5 points and the loser getting points equal to the number of stones won. So if you use this method and play three rounds, would you count that as 1 game or 3?

For instance, we never play Linko! just one round. We always play rounds equal to the number of players, so I count the 3 or 4 rounds as 1 game.

I know in the end it doesn't matter, but I'm curious.

Thanks in advance for the thoughts!

We've never played Schotten Totten as a "match of N games", so it's a moot point for me.

But in general, we consider each play of a shortish game like this to be its own play, so I log N plays as N plays.

I'm curious, is that because you only ever play one game at a sitting?

Yes, we almost always play just one game of Schotten Totten per sitting.

(For whatever reason, one game of S-T feels "complete" or enough to us in one sitting. There are some other short games which we sometimes play multiple times in one sitting.)
