She didn't win the presidency. I wonder what that tells us about the people that were donating.

Clinton Global Initiative shuts down after election loss

The Clintons are moving ahead with plans to downsize their controversial foundation’s network of offshoots, a decision carried out as the powerful family’s political influence wanes and its once-lengthy donor list shrinks.

Probably some really awkward phone calls in the last few weeks between her, Bill, and her clientele....all asking for a rebate probably.

But they were doing so much good for all those kids and poor people...why would the donors stop donating?

The layoffs are tied to a decision to shutter CGI that originally was announced in an Aug. 22 letter from former President Bill Clinton.

I'm pretty sure August and October were both before the election.

How do you explain this:

Quote:
While the 2011 CGI meeting boasted a roster of 46 sponsors, that number had been cut in half by the final September summit, Politico reported.

I mean, it's like you are accusing an MSM outlet of being misleading so as to infer something about someone to make them look bad.

Much less than the headline promised. The foundation is shutting down one of its lines -- the CGI. Didn't say the entire Clinton Foundation was shuttering and that all employees would be losing their jobs. Given the nebulous threats to charge, try, and imprison Hillary Clinton by the incoming Administration and the GOP-led Congress, it's little wonder why some donors would want to back off. And when it comes to national contributions (Norway and Australia were mentioned in the story), it is probably a political move to stop supporting charitable efforts by the new president's rival.

Good. The further and more completely the Clintons are removed from the public eye and any positions of power, the better for the party and for American liberalism generally.

He specifically called out a behavior, not your character or identity. Look, I think you suffer some personal attacks, and I think that's bullshit, and I'd like to remember to call people on it when I see that. It would help if you didn't cry wolf.

US needs a center though, not more foaming populists. Liberalism's brush with relevance will largely die with the Clinton's career.

Democrats, please remember to call your doctor if . . .

. . . what? You lost your doctor? And your insurance? And you can't afford the premiums on a new plan? And you have to pay a fine for not being able to afford insurance?

Huh. Neat trick for generating revenue: force people to buy something they can't afford and then fine them for not buying it.

I don't think you'll find a Democrat on these boards who wouldn't have preferred to simply nationalize health care, like the rest of the developed world. I guess we'll go back to the old system now which was working out so well?

I wasn't sure if it was a joke or what it meant. I guess it would have been more clear if you said could you please use ellipses and props give an example of correct usage.
