Has anyone played 3p without a bot? Would you recommend it?

I have only played three player without the bot and everyone thought it played fine.

Worked well with my son and his friends and with my adult gaming group.

I think it also depends on what weapons are in play, some of them just perform better in games with more than 2 other targets, so the bot is there to help with that.

As Brandon said, I think it definitely depends on the weapons that are available. I've played it with my kids and adult gaming group also (without the bot). Compared to a four player game, it is lacking. There is much less thought into what you do - and the scoring suffers.

To be specific, if Player A has been shot a few times by player B, they may have the majority damage on them. So there is no urgency for player C to compete for damage on player A, as they are going to get the second set points as long as they hit them at least once. Therefore, there is nearly always only 2 points difference between player kills.

But in a four player game, you have to at least out-compete the other player (Player D) for the second set of point rewards.

I am yet to play with the bot so I will see how it goes.
