When I try to click profile button, the help menu pops-up. I can enter profile by clicking a bit to the right of it, but it is still a bit weird.

Please look at the picture below. I use google chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m.

FWIW I do not see this problem in Firefox/Iceweasel; the My Geek popup lets me click Profile as usual.

Why isn't the help option at the far right of the blue bar?

Given that the two visible page elements there, the pale blue subscription box and the dark blue menu box, don't line up, I thing you have bigger problems. Something is screwing up the page rendering for you.

Also, you can get to your profile by clicking your user-name.

Even if I stretch page to 1920 pixel wide, this help still is under "My Geek". Again this no big issue, since I can access profile through user name link, this just something weird.

edit: In IE this "help" link is positioned correctly on far right side.

Using Chrome 55.0.2883.95 on OS X 10.11.6 here, and the Help link is in the right place. What OS and version are you using?

I'm trying to replicate the issue, but no luck so far.

Is the page zoomed? (Try pressing ctrl-0)

What if you open the page in an incognito window? Any plugins you have installed should be turned off in incognito mode, so if that helps, the issue is probably caused by a browser plugin.

Zoom is 100%, In incognito it behaves the same.

After logging out, help moves to it's place on the right, propably because "browse" menu dissapears.

It looks like headers of drop down menu somehow does not fit and "help" is carried one line lower. Like here. Whole center part background is move up a bit.

When I mess up with CSS a bit, they all fit. I just clicked few things checkboxes in CSS. I am an application not web developer

Yeah, it's clearly a styling issue (css), but I can't figure out what it could be, and why it would only happen to you, and not the rest of us… debugging by forum is rather difficult unfortunately

When you haven't touched the css, what width is the element with id="header"?

Is this messed up on all of your Quickbar pages?

On all pages with old theme (at least few of them that I checked).

To be a bit more specific, I saw "http:wa..." in your image. I was wondering if your Quickbar contents were wider than the allotted area. I tried inserting two long weblinks in my Quickbar and it fouled up the Quickbar rendering, but not the rest of the header. (I'm using Firefox)

There are 76 zillion browsers and in weird situations they render differently. It is a massive pain in the ass when you're trying to design webpages. It is getting better, but there is always some new wizbang feature that isn't in the standards yet.

PS - Your gif image illustrating the problem was wonderful!

I also tried inserting a very long string in one of my quickbar slots, but it did not reproduce the problem. I was using Chrome 55.something I believe, on Windows 10.

I'm pretty sure BGG isn't using too many wizbang features though, especially not in the old design

I also suspected this long link, but removing it did not help.
Do not worry much about it. It does not break my day.

If such stupid things happens at my work I usually ignore it just take mental note in case it happens to someone else.

Are you zoomed in or out? Try pressing CTRL/CMD-0 (zero)

FWIW, I'm using the exact same browser and version and do not have this issue.

Careful - that's not entirely true. Each extension has an option below it to enable it in Incognito mode. Just make sure those are all unchecked if you're troubleshooting potential extension conflicts.

When I clear the value of property font-family or uncheck it everything looks ok.

at my browser the value of it is:

verdana,"lucida grande",arial,sans-serif

Maybe I have something messed up with installed fonts.

I actually though your screengrab looked a little off - that might be it. The fonts in the menu bar should be using verdana (as you pointed out). Is the page using verdana for you as well?

I don't know any other way to tell other than to use an extension:
