we played this last night and played vaious things wrong. One of the things that weare still trying to get right is about movement.

Playing 2 player.

1. First player moves both his monster and his units before the second player, or just his monster then second player moves his monster, then both move their units?

2. Linked with that, if you move both your monster and trooops before you opponent, and you move troops onto the oponents monster, can the monster move away - or is it pinned?

3. National gaurd captain, captain Colossal and the mecha monster. Does anyone play house rules for limiting the effectiveness of these? my opponent had all 3!!! particually the gaurd, as this takes away some of your placement options if your opponent has the card..

btw - dont be tempted to have 2 military brances with 2 players - its chews the monsters up

cheers rob

1. (pg. 6) "Players take turns going left from the first player. During your turn, do the following in order": Move, Fight, Encounter, Deploy.
So in other words you take turns going through all steps.

2. No pinning. After movement, all monsters and troops on the same space has to fight. When your opponents turn comes up, only a monster or the millitary will be present on any space.

3. The game can be unbalanced in a 2-player game. There are no problems with more players. I only play this game with 3 or 4. So no idea as how to balance a 2-player game!
