Subject: Game with Penrose Tiles for board creation? rss

I know there are many games that require the players to place tiles to build a playing surface. Do any of those games use Penrose Tiles--specifically, I'm wondering about kites & darts.

Penrose Tiles, named after polymath Roger Penrose, tile the plane completely but aperiodically. No repeating patterns emerge no matter the placement.

I think such boards would be a natural for massive random variations based on tiny changes in the beginning pattern. If such a game already exists, I'd love to try it.

I found Astromino which was the subject of a 2012 Kickstarter that didn't reach its funding goal. One of the posts about Astronimo mentioned Cir*Kis -- don't know whether the it has Penrose tiles or not.

I only know of abstract games based on nonperiodic tilings of the plane
