When green is all there is to be, it could make you wonder why. But why wonder? I'm green, and it'll do fine: it's beautiful, and I think it's what I want to be.

Wow, that's so sad. She was a great actress (and, by all accounts, a great person offscreen as well). The MTM show was something I watched all the time when I was young, and as I grew older I enjoyed her film roles as well; I remember being surprised and pleased by how good she was in "Flirting with Disaster," for example.

Ordinary People was a seminal movie my freshman year in college. Not necessarily in a good way, but over time probably had much to do with me becoming a healthier person.

I was very sad to hear about this. She was always one of my favorite performers. She played a pivotal role in my two favorite sitcoms of all time: Dick Van Dyke's and her own. I even enjoyed her short-lived variety show (featuring a very young David Letterman).

Oh well, at least she finally gets to join her beloved Chuckles!
