Like all Hedge Wizards, this card does many things but not particularly well.

If you look at the cost of an estate, a victory point could be worth $2, or a great hall with +card and +action, $3. In Hedge Wizard, we have a cantrap similar to great hall that can cycle itself, yet provide a victory point so it doesn't create dead space in your deck. Being +$1 certainly gives an argument for it being $4 but does that extra buy push it up to $5?
We found that at $4, it's just too good a card to have. Comparing with Market, it's the same as Market, but it also gives a victory point. Yes there is a delay, but because it's a non terminal delay, it just means your next hand is even better without costing you cards or initiative for this turn. On the whole, I feel comfortable with the card being at $5, though an arguement could be made for $4, it becomes too much of a must buy card. I could weaken it and make it $4, but that would take away from it's hedgewizardness.

Great hall + weak woodcutter? $5
Slow Market $4 +1VP? = $1.5

Off-the-cuff guess; this sounds like it would be a bit weak even as a $4. It can't be $3 because it would be strictly better than Great Hall (even though Great Hall has been officially removed from Intrigue).

One thing to remember about Durations is that there's another big drawback outside of the delay in your benefit.. because they don't get discarded the turn you play them, they miss the shuffle far more often; and in a good engine where you're drawing your deck; 2 of these is the same as only 1 Market (with 2 in your deck you can only play 1 each turn).

The VP seems a bit out of place... it might work pretty well to remove the VP and make it cost $3.

Much like (and predating) Jack of All Trades, Hedge wizard was intended to be a card which did various things without doing any of them amazingly, hence the victory point.

It's a good point about market being $5 and getting to play it more frequently. Maybe i should play test it more at $4..
