Well the rules forum does have 116 threads so he may have a valid point.

Well he may have a point, but consider that 'Ticket To Ride' and, 'Lords of Waterdeep' - both considered light gateway games - have 104 and 352 threads respectively in their rules forums. Just an observation that a game's complexity isn't necessarily tied to the number of threads in its Rules forum.

Frontiers I can understand (though i picked it up pretty quickly), but 104 Ticket To Ride rules threads?

Makes me wonder if these people struggled learning Tic-Tac-Toe

It's been my experience over the years that 50% - no, make that 65% - of questions asked in Rules Forums can be answered by looking in the Rulebook, or at least reading it again.

I will boldly take the position that Frontiers falls within the 35% of games where re-reading the manual does not answer your questions.
