You ain't kidding. Tomato soup and grilled cheese have seen me through some dark times.

Also on the "All is Forgiven" list...

the person who discovered Hot Cocoa.

I like creamy tomato soup, but not the kind that's like chunks of tomato in watery broth. I like fake, plastic, generic Campbell's Soup version of tomato soup though. And crackers.

Yes! Everybody asks if 'moi' liked some 'soup' with the 'crackers' since one package of them per 'Soup' serving is preferable! YUMS!
"Grilled Cheese Sandwiches" also were great accompaniment. cool

It's been quite clear that it's tomato soup. And why are you yelling?

IT's AN Argument!

As to my question (it was a joke). I seem to recall that to get that unique flavour of a certain type of tomato soup you need to add swede.

15 ounces tomato sauce. (One can to imitate another?)
6 ounces tomato paste.
1 cup water.
1⁄2 teaspoon garlic salt.
2 1⁄2 tablespoons sugar.
1⁄4 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste.
2 cups whole milk.

Or just crack open a can.

(Crazy stuff trying to figure out if swedes are turnips or rutabagas.)

Yeah, tomato soup is the kind of thing that always surprises me with how tasty it is. Trader Joe's has a nice canned tomato and pepper soup. Add a little cayenne and that stuff is perfect. I'm OK with "chunky" style tomato soup too, and gazpacho as well.

Hmm, fresh pepper flakes as well as Hamzy's hatch chili sauce have amazing flavor, so yeah. I like heat but not as much as the taste.

While a can is a popular delivery method for Tomato Soup, it's actually not necessary to the creation of Tomato Soup.

haha yeah I just can't picture another way of "discovering" it, and that picture is more amusing.
