It Was 20 Years Ago Today - Special Games & Parts edition

Avalon Hill’s Universal Games & Parts List as of February 1, 1997

Literally coming true as I write. Guys, seriously, this is why I’ve been doing this all this past month.

Twenty years ago today.

It’s payoff time!

Read ‘em and weep!

Notice how relatively pricey computer games were back then.

Best ignore the poor layout. No page numbers just placeholder text is your first clue.

Enjoy!

Oh, and comment

It is interesting that the wargames are either "Adult Strategy" or "Military Simulations" or "American History", seemingly at random. Looking at it more closely: VG games were "Military Simulations, but AH games were "Adult Strategy" (except for the Smithsonian games).

The games that were coming, but never actually came out:
Panzerblitz II
Rats!
Afrika Corps (Computer)
Panzerblitz (Computer)
Tank Resistance 2024
