There's a game that my brother and I used to play at my grandparents' house when we were young, and I cannot for the life of me remember its name.

Stuff I remember:
- I think we played it in the late 80's, so I think it's at least that old.
- It had a space / Sci-Fi theme
- It was vaguely chess-like (pieces attacking other pieces on a board)
- It was for two players. I can't remember if there was a 3 player option or not.
- The plastic pieces were like traditional game pawns, with a couple differences: The tops were flat (instead of round), and one side at least had clear pawns with glitter in them (I think it was gold?). The other side's pawns looked different, but I don't remember exactly how.
- I think all of the pieces on the board were the same (unlike chess).

Anyone have any clue what game this is? My Google-Fu is failing me.

Re: What old game is this?
So, I've been thinking about this (and doing some searching) for weeks without luck.

Then just now I think to Google "astro" with a couple other relevant tags. And I think I may have found it! I should have guessed it was from the 60's.

Astro Blitz

Only two ratings on the Geek. Possibly the rarest game I've ever played.
