Does anybody have an idea how many Locations it's possible to visit in a campaign? I know some locations/scenarios may get closed off to you based on choices made and I believe some others may not appear unless certain City/Road Events occur, but any idea how many a typical campaign might go through? Just want to know... for reasons.

Isaac has said that a typical campaign will be about 70 scenarios.

Each scenario appears to be tied to a unique location, but that's just interpreting from the little I have seen so far. So the max possible locations would be the number of scenarios. The expected is as Jimmy indicated from Isaac.

That's not counting the random dungeons.

I would really want to go through a hypothetical and try to see what the maximum number of reachable scenarios is, but I don't want to spoil that much. I'll get back to you in a couple years when I finish our campaign.

Do you know if he's said how much side-quest action this includes?

I believe the campaign-only scenarios is 50-something. I forget the exact number, but it's most of the 70.
