I have gotten a few games under my belt facing the M2A1 Halftrack. One thing I noticed is that scoring hits against the infantry that come with the halftrack as passengers and fit on the panel as a team are incredibly hard to get hits against as all gear damage results count as zips. This effect continues even after the vehicle is destroyed. Am I playing this wrong, or has anyone had any similar experiences?
You are doing it correctly. I asked about this very same issue. It may seem odd, but in this case the half-track is integral to the team and provides benefits. Losing the half-track itself screws up the team in its own way.
Note that as the 251/1 comes on line, the passengers are just that and won't gain the benefit of the halftrack that way the 250/1 or M2 teams do. Hope this helps.
