Obviously I'm not eligible to win the prize as a contributor, but I'll chime in with some of my favorites. More or less in order from smallest to largest small box:

Deep Sea Adventure, Brewcrafters: The Card Game, Mr. Jack Pocket, Star Realms, Great Heartland Hauling Company, Longhorn, Rumble in the Dungeon, Vault Wars, Fleet, Artifacts Inc.

Edit: Forgot to add my brand new roll-and-write, Rolling America!

Yay!

Right now ... Muses! A print 'n' play with nine cards and two dice, it doesn't *need* a box! Or another player.

Looking forward to reading what other games in small boxes people are enjoying. Any game in box sized larger than Nautilion ... it's a bit unnerving.

There is a contest elsewhere on the Geek in which people were challenged to show an emergency/travel game kit. Talk about a lot in small boxes! It was amazing and inspirational.

Mine would probably be the game that started this whole hobby board gaming thing...Coup! It just has some sentimental value for me...

I won a copy of Harbour in a contest last year. It's a pretty good game in a small box.

It has to be Würfel Bohnanza, this game has been consistently been played on every single holiday my wife and I go on. She always carries it in her purse, and it also has the distinction as being the first game my wife purchased since we've begun our gaming renaissance.

My favorite small box game probably has to be Vye: The Card Game of Capture and Control. It's a fairly small box size(I believe about the size of Artifacts Inc. But there is a ton of game in there. Enough for 5 players and a bunch of different special cards one can add in. In addition you can control the length of the game by adding or subtracting the number of cards to the deck at the beginning of the game.

Another vote would go towards Isle of Trains. Really like this game!

If I want something super small and quick I go for Yardmaster Express: Caboose Expansion. Note: It's Yardmaster Express, but it seems that has been removed.

Deep Sea Adventure is for sure a fun one. I just played Noch Mal over the weekend though and that was a ton of fun and offers interesting choices. I'm going to look into adding it to my library!

Some of my favorites have already been mentioned in this thread: Deep Sea Adventure, Würfel Bohnanza, Mr. Jack Pocket, and my favorite 2-player of all time: Battle Line.

My daughters also really enjoy push-your-luck games, so Circus Flohcati has been getting a lot of playing time lately. Artwork is a little weird to some, but I like it.

Hmmmm what is small? Compared to my TORPEDO RUN! box everything is small....even Mechs vs Minions hehe.

Ok seriously right now I'd say it might be Bottom of the 9th by Dice Hate Me games. Could change though depending on who I'm playing with.

Control is a great card game. Quick and easy to learn. Each players are time travelers who have been caught in a rupture in spacetime and displaced outside time. You must use Fuel Cells (the cards) to refuel your time machine or stop other players from refueling theirs first.
