hi all.
like the title says, i'm looking for a full co-op game that is suitable for kids.
i have a friend who is a child therapist and we were playing zombicide one night and she said that it would be a really good game for her to use with her clients if it was simpler, which got me thinking about what to suggest.
any help is appreciated. thanks very much.

I don't know much about this game, but The Lion Guard: Protect the Pride Lands seems to have some positive feedback and is a co-op for kids.

Edit: I see it is currently priced at $11.95 on Amazon, so now might be a good time to pick it up, too. Regular price is $19.99.

Also, you might have to do some sifting but here are the results for an advanced search for co-operative children's games.

The Forbidden Island and Forbidden Desert are both really great co op games.
Our top choice for the kids is Castle Panic at the moment.
Add the wizard expansion after first few games and it's a blast.

I have taught Castle Panic to my 10 yr old foster brother with FASD, basically that means he's not exactly the best learner or very smart.

Shadows Over Camelot is good fun. There is a "traitor" mechanic, but it is optional.

These! The games are for therapy sessions, right? That means they should be easy and *FAST.* Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters does look pretty sweet and looks to be quick.

I am proud to have opposed those who describe all who oppose them as "Tender Flowers" and "Special Snowflakes".

Max is about as simple as it gets, and might be suited to very young players. Similarly, if you play Go Away Monster! using the variant that pulling a tile you don't need gives you the opportunity to share it, and you keep playing until everyone's board is full, it becomes a cooperative activity playable by children as young as two.

For older kids, the Forbidden games mentioned above are superb.

The D&D games also work--my kids (6 and 8) like Temple of Elemental Evil (preferred for the campaign) and Legend of Drizzt.

definitely for a younger crowd but I've had some success selling it is the Enchanted Tower. The kids work to stop the adult/therapist/what not from getting to the princess in her tower.

These are really good. Our 3 and 5 year olds can both play Outfoxed without assistance.
