Does anyone play using the AI defense deck from the SE Files? Does it work well for solitaire?

Thanks

What means "SE Files"? I have never heard about solo-deck for BoB.

Screaming Eagles. Isn't that a solitaire variant in the Files section?

I have Played with it on all scenarios from SE that is recommended in the files. Have not tried it with GP.
It works well as a static defense, but isn't able to handle situations where the defensive force has to be mobile and regroup to defend vs. Enemies that break through the defensive line.
It isn't the smartest AI, but it is lethal in Opfire and Final Opfire.
I'm waiting for Jim's solitaire rules, but the AI deck is fun to play against.

Yes, it only really works as a static defense. That's all it was designed to do.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Have you tried it with any of the scenarios from GP? Thanks for designing it.

Meaning I can jump right into solitaire play without learning the normal game?

No. You stillness to know how to play so you can perform the duties of the attacking side. It is mostly easy to learn, but it takes some careful reading of parts of the rules - When and if you get stuck be sure to search for a solution as I am sure plenty of other people have had the same issue.

If you can, find friend to learn and play with as it is much easier for two people to mess up a rule than one.whistle

Martin how would you compare this too ATS since I see we are both ATS players... this is more a tactical game than ATS but the mech rule seems simplified. Im trying to see if this game can handle huge scenarios like th e one ones ATS has like Fuhrers Bunker, Sword Beach, Juno Beach... What are your thoughts, as most scenarios I see arent in the HUGE box...?
