A fun card game that is a cross between War and Uno with some Texas Holdem thrown in for seasoning. Fun for all and deviously strategic

A game that kids can play but has hidden depth to keep adults engaged. The result is an an easy-to-learn but surprisingly strategic fun card game. Players take turns drawing and playing cards to win battles (and cards). Some special action cards allow players to steal cards, change their character, void other player's cards and more. Intensity increases, round after round, battles after battle, until the end when the player who has won the most, wins the game.

This looks pretty fun, but can you explain some of the mechanics in the game? It looks like it plays pretty fast, but where are some of the mechanics that give it replayability?

The core game is pretty fast. There are essentially two "suits" (claws and lasers) and how you play a hand typically depends on how heavy your hand is in one or the other. Lots of claws? choose monster as your character. Lots of lasers? choose robot. A mix of the two, Hologram is probably best. There are text cards and some suit cards with text that provide variety and spice to the mix. Some of these text cards allow you to steal cards, force others to change their character and other blocking or accelerator techniques. The combination of the three possible play characters and the variety of the text cards give the game replay ability.
In addition, the expansion deck takes this a step further by offering more strategic cards that add depth and complexity by doing things like allowing you steal half the cards from the winner of a battle or turning all claws into lasers and vice versa. There's also an interrupt card to cancel any text which keeps all players guessing about what is going to happen.
In these ways, the game is designed to be different every time you are dealt a hand. There are also different approaches to winning based on your character and even a back door way to win by purposely playing as few cards as possible and drawing to discard into your point pile. In other words, there's more than one path to victory which gives an additional interesting angle for replayability.
