Heck, this is from Election week:

https://heatst.com/world/exclusive-fbi-granted-fisa-warrant-...

And here's the New York Times practically stating that Trump was wiretapped:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/19/us/politics/trump-russia-...

And here's a piece from January on the same thing:

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/443768/obama-fisa-trum...

So far from a random unhinged Tweet, the press has already known about it, but apparently didn't think much of it.

Basically, it happened. The only question is whether President Obama himself ordered it, knew about it, approved of it, etc.

Half you links don't work. Of the one that does it appears to indicate that the warrant went through the due process and governed a server that had direct links to a Russian bank in relation to money laundering. Not sure how that is tapping Trumps phone.

Still no evidence provided (btw seems like a lot of your links are broken) so basically still an unhinged tweet. Please link to some actual evidence backing up what Trump said.

When I try to put a tux and top hat on a turd, it just gets the expensive couture all stinky and brown.

Why do Trump supporters try so, so hard to perform the same failed stunt?

Because this is literally all they have to work with. It's either this or face reality.

At this point I'm actually hoping the tapping happened.

Because it means the a FISA court had sufficient concern Russia might be interfering with the election.

Obama habitually made use of post-9/11 legislation, so how much would his rep really suffer? Especially among those who already are convinced he did it.

But I'm thinking Trump would prefer to keep it at baseless accusations. It's what worked for him so well so far.

President Dipshit read it from Breitbart, which culled the turd from an old stream of unsubstantiated news. So, not only was it old and recycled, but made fresh by warming it in his hands, it also was self-referred by Breitbart. The new playbook of self-triangulation, which the gullible eat up.

Your hobbies are ... disturbing.

There's a lot of IF's in this to even make it plausible. Obama, being an attorney and married to one, would know he could not personally order electronic surveillance. Even if he did, he is smart enough to know how to cover his tracks. The FBI and National Intelligence admitted they were investigating Russian attempts to influence the election and noted contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia without making a judgment on them as of October, so it is possible the FISA court was used to obtain permission to peek into the alleged communications.

The biggest IFs are this:]
Mark Leven actually knows what the hell he's talking about, which would be a first.
Breitbart fact checked Leven's allegations, which they never do.

I could only open 3 of the 8 links and those that worked were heavily biased and poorly written articles.

The main point is this: Even if Trump's phone was tapped, why does the lunatic go straight to Twitter without any evidence for his outrageous claim? I mean, he's the president, shouldn't he be able to come up with something?

But why provide proof when to the ones following you, your word is proof?

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/03/trump-feds-phone-calls...

Quote:
However, there are still many ways in which information from Trump Tower phone calls could end up in the hands of intelligence agents or law enforcement officials — even without any knowledge on Obama’s part.

First, they may have come upon Trump Tower phone calls if a targeted foreign agent was on the other end of the line — this method comes from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, or FISA court. Or Trump Tower digital chatter might have shown up while authorities dug through the vast quantities of data hoovered up via more sweeping foreign surveillance programs.

Second, the FBI could also have asked for a so-called “pen register” or “trap and trace device,” which record only the parties involved in a phone call. These requests have a lower bar for approval.

While it's unknown whether any of these scenarios occurred, it's “very likely that the people in the Obama administration had access to the communication of senior Trump officials in the run-up to the election, because they have very, very broad authority,” said Cindy Cohn, executive director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has advocated for revising surveillance laws...

...Through routine data collection programs authorized under Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the government gathers information from the internet backbone, which carries web browsing histories and a rapidly increasing amount of telephone traffic.

The government discards information that is plainly domestic and searches through the rest using only specific selectors — a phone number or email address, for instance. But Americans’ information that is incidentally collected and determined to contain some foreign intelligence value is fair game for review.

Cohn said such data on Americans could include communications that are to, from or about foreign targets the FISA court has already approved for surveillance. For example, if two Trump campaign officials were talking via email about a Moscow official under surveillance, that conversation might get flagged as relevant.

Trump’s anger over the potential surveillance of him and his campaign is only likely to increase people’s awareness of these programs, some of which are up for reauthorization at the end of 2017.

The White House reportedly supports a “clean” reauthorization with no revisions. But the heightened attention to the topic has already been used in Capitol Hill hearings to argue for an overhaul of the laws.

“I think that even if [Trump is] not exactly right about what happened here, the fact that he could tweet this … and we can’t tell exactly what happened, means that we need to have an honest conversation in this country about these authorities,” Cohn said.

So, the left goes nuts over supposed Russian interference in the election, with zero evidence and is screaming that all day long every day.
Trump says Obama tapped his phone, has no evidence but the left denies it completely.
Your partisanship is showing. And the phone tapping is a lot easier to believe after knowing what Obama has actually done.

actually the russian interference is more beliavble because their intelligence services wouldn't have been doing their jobs if they hadn't.

Already on the record on saying if its true then it needs investigating but the burden is on Trump to produce evidence of his claims first.

In case it's not clear, he's referring to Trump, not to anyone here. I think it's pretty safe to say that no one has every been banned for anything they've said about a POTUS or about any political figure for that matter.

You're absolutely right on this point, with some minor quibbles. I'd replace "goes nuts" with "raises serious concerns" and "screaming that all day long every day" with "wants a full investigation with an independent prosecutor." Also, replace "zero evidence" with "evidence" or with "based on the consensus belief of US intelligence".

Quote:
Trump says Obama tapped his phone, has no evidence but the left denies it completely.

Actually, what most of the Left is doing is saying, "This is the sort of accusation that is reckless to make without evidence. Trump has offered no evidence and it looks a lot like another one of his many other bullshit claims made either because he's delusional or as a calculated move to shift the news cycle away from things that are bad for him."

Quote:
Your partisanship is showing.

I think you misspelled, "My" but other than that I agree.
