The latest KS update (3/6/17) was restricted to backers only. Could someone relay the status. I missed the KS and ordered direct from Game Brewer so it's hard to get info.
Thanks

So where are we now?

We signed a contract with www.pledgemanager.com (from the creators of Kicktraq). We're currently uploading all files. When this is ready, you will (finally) receive an email to complete all your details for shipping.

Pixie Queen will be printed at Trefl in Poland. The print files are currently being reviewed and wooden samples have been ordered. After approval of all the files and samples, mass production will start. Trefl assured us that the printing process itself will only take 6 weeks. Transport to Belgium will take only a few days. We've asked Trefl to give us a more accurate prediction of the delivery date. It's pretty sure Pixie Queen will not reach you in April, but we're still hoping for May or June. When we receive more detailled info from Trefl, we will post a new update.

Hi John,

We have been receiving some emails of people who ordered on our website. All these emails have been answered within 24 hours.

We'll post a new public update when we have a more accurate delivery date.

Best regards, Rudy

Hi everyone!

We've seen new samples of the wooden pixies. As you can see on the picture below, the feet are a little bit thicker now (about 2 mm). We've immediately approved this new sample. All wooden elements are really awsome now!

We've also approved the mining bags. The shadows in the design have been erased and the transfer print is cut out very precisely now.

Although it took us only 1 week to approve the samples, this is the new planning that we received from the manufacturer:

- July 15th: wooden components and bags ready to be shipped from China to the Netherlands. In the last week of August, 6 weeks later, they will arrive at NSF in the Netherlands. We've investigated if it would be possible to transport the components by airplane. But we're talking about 1650 kg of wooden components on 3 pallets, which makes it too expensive to do this by airplane, even part of it.

- September 6: Games ready. + transport to Turnhout, Belgium. After that, we'll need a few more weeks to pack all the games and send them to you. Games for backers in the USA and Canada will be send on pallets to our fulfillment partner there, who will pack and send them individually.

We're pretty confident that this is the final schedule now. We've seen the final proof prints as well and approved them already with only a few minor remarks. Our visit to the manufacturer has been posponed, because there was nothing to see yet.

In the meantime we've found distributors to sell Pixie Queen in the whole of Europe. Pixie Queen will be released in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish and Polish. And probably Italian will be added to the Spanish edition, but we're still working on that with our new distribution partner in Italy (But without further delay of the release date, that's a promise!). In total we've ordered 5500 games.

Without the support of our backers, Pixie Queen would never have been produced. We needed the budget to start the production. But thanks to you, we can now say we've already sold about 3000 copies before its official release, of which about 700 on Kickstarter! This is really a great succes and we can't thank you enough for that!

We invite all backers to our booth in hall 2 at Spiel '17 in Essen to have a drink with us and chat about Pixie Queen and other games! Hope to see you there!
