I'm not quite sure.

When do you declare orders by putting attack, move, markers on the army's slots?

Is this right after the Bowl is setup, before?

Can someone point to me what page this is on in the Tenkatoitsu rulebook.

Thanks

EDIT:

Found the order from Kawanakajima's rules.

Command Phase
1. Each player updates their Delay Track [8.1].
2. Each player determines the number of Command Points [8.2].
3. Each player can attempt to activate their Battle Plan [7.2].
4. Each player chooses Activation Chits for this turn [8.3].

Found my mistake, I didn't realize what were the Activation chits!

Each clan starts with an order: move, regroup, attack or defend
It depends on the set up special rules, or by default on the initial battle plan

A clan may change orders
- when activated, when a clan activation chit is pulled. See 8.1
Or
- when the initiative chit is pulled. See 7.2.4

Awesome, thanks Lugbar!

That's what I missed. Now, it makes sense.

You are welcome Josh.

Forgot also to mention

- if the battle plan is not active at start, all clans may change orders automatically when the player's battle plan is activated. See 10.2

For the clan order that is delayed, I put that Clan marker on the delay track. Then when it gets to the 1 that turn, they are definitely added to the Bowl?

Command rule is section 9

Start with rule 9.1
First empty the bowl from remaining chits from previous turn
Decide on messenger table which delay is applied to them
Then shift all delayed counters one to the left
Those that were in delay 1 box are all put in the bowl

Next is rule 9.2
Determine how many command points you have this turn.

At last rule 9.3
Spend your command points.
If the clan is less than 15MP from the leader, put the chit in the bowl
From 15MP to less than 30MP, put in delay 1 box
From 30MP to less than 45MP, put in delay 2 box

It is very unlikely that you spend points beyond 45MP...ninja

Piggybacking Josh because this is related:

10.2 wrote:
When your Battle Plan becomes active, all your Clans which do not have any unit in an EZoC can immediately be assigned new Orders from among the Initial Orders of your Battle Plan.

That "among" means the player can choose freely, right? Say I've activated Kouyaku: I can choose Defense for some clans and Movement for others, yes?

Correct ! Saku, Hoshi and Koyaku have limitations in the choice. All other battle plans are free choice.
