What happens if you can't fulfill a life goal your draw it? Let's say I get one that says something like "Do 4 scenarios between number 40-49". And when I draw it the group has already done 7 of them. What then?

In this case, redo them in casual mode...

I would remove that card from the game and draw another one.

You can always replay scenarios in casual mode, once they are unlocked.

This. You can still get credit for completing scenarios in casual mode.

My question is, say your goal is to do 8 scenarios in Mcshingleshank Forest. Can I replay the same scenario 8 times in casual mode to accomplish that, or must they be 8 unique scenarios?

I would imagine it would need to be unique scenarios

If you did that, you failed to complete 8 scenarios. You completed one scenario 8 times. If someone asks you how many girls you dated in high school, you count the number girls, not the number of dates with girls.

I kept getting stood up, so bad example shake

They need to be different.

I don't see why they need to be different unless the phrasing on the card is "different scenarios". It's just the number of instances you need to go through. Mechanically it makes sense. Thematically, it doesn't make sense that you can replay things anyways, so I don't think the thematic answer is relevant to the question.

And if you want to grind through the same scenario 8 times instead of playing something new, you deserve it!

I am also leaning toward them needing to be 8 unique scenarios, but I would like to hear the official response.

They have to be different, but victories in casual mode still count.

It's like you guys don't trust us or something. You do realise that we are obsessed, right?

So if I just had to
Spoiler (click to reveal)
complete a certain amount of scenarios (eternal wanderer)
would scenarios in casual mode count towards my life goal?

Yes, but they, I believe, should be different scenarios.

In your place, I would draw another card instead of that one. I know that you CAN play scenarios again in casual mode, but at least for me, I don't want to replay things when I can be instead playing new scenarios, and I don't think I'd play it enough times to get through the campaign if I kept playing older ones over again.

Yes, but they, I believe, should be different scenarios.

Can anyone else confirm this? That's fine if so, I'm just already level 4 and I've only completed 4 scenarios so far (we've lost a bunch).

Check the FAQ, there's a list in there of Personal Quests that require it to be different scenarios. See if yours is one of them.
