Hei,

Anybody who gets stuff off KS must know that shipping is most often ridiculously high. People in Germany are already doing something about it, bundling orders allowing them to negotiate bulk discounts, and reducing the overall shipping. So is there something like this here? or...

The Finnish Board Game Society forums is a good place – we've organized couple of group orders there, including two 10+ game Santorini orders.

Those threads have usually been in the marketplace subforum.

I think there are very few group buys orgnized via that way compared to the numer of people in Finland backing games. I have myself participated in 20+ group buys, of which at most one via Lautapeliseura forums. So that forum has not been very good at reaching potential co-backers at least yet.

Hei,

I would definitely be interested in such group, I have myself been organizing / participating in few KS group buys with other BGG members. Would a BGG sub-forum be a suitable option?

So where do you usually find such group?

Well, you and pema seam to know more about this; would be great if you could lead the way. I'm currently Kickstarting Rising sun, and wouldn't mind considering a group back.

Pema and I are also planning on backing it so I can definitely pledge for 3 copies. Are you from Helsinki?
We can also continue this conversation through PM / emails if you prefer.

I and crian have co-bought a lot of games, but there have been other people. Some via forums or FB groups.

At the moment I would not mind if I would find someone to decrease shipping costs for Fate of the Elder Gods, Deep Madness, Shadows of Brimstone: Forbidden Fortress, Feudum, and Railways of Nippon.
