My end game conditions, mine and resource pools come with a nice set of stain patterns, on both front and back. They're very consistent so I'm not sure they're not intentional, but the ones on the mine pools have a different orientation from the rest. A darker stain is visible in one corner, shown below, while a lighter one shows up on the opposite side.

In low lighting, though, it's not very obvious, especially with the sleeves on.

Also, I got in my first game yesterday, and it was great! Already thinking about when I'll be able to get the next game in.

I am almost 100% certain they're intentional, because the representation of the cards in the rule book has the same pattern. It's very subtle, though, and they do look like they're stained, rather than an intentional effect. Not sure that's what they were going for...

Speaking as a printer, I'm sure that they are intended to be there.

But yes. They do look like smudges at first glance. They are also in my copy and I had to take a closer look myself.

Being a Geek is a sure sign of a sound mind, cause it means you think that life as it is is dull and should be more interesting. Which it is.

Definitely part of the artwork since I have the same on mine and on my path box-sleeve too

I thought the same when I first looked through. I've since noticed the same design is on the print n play.

The cards shown in the Rulebook Component List also show these "marks", so I'm sure they are intentional...

What would be the odds of having so many identical stains?

I did actually expect a comment like that that a lot sooner.

But then again... Where do you think the Chronobots come from? Muhahahahaha!

Oh then it's good. Have the same pattern on mine.

These are indeed part of the cards' design, to make them look a bit more "worn". We're after an apocalypse, after all

There's a grammatical error, needs a comma after "Hello."

You two mean the device, right? You're like sentient printers, sort of? pp
Sorry. Couldn't resist

I have noticed this stains too. I got the game last week, but had a very busy week, so I got to dedicate some serious time to Anachrony just now.
At first, I thought they were stains from the printer's cushions, but the pattern is too consistent on the cards to be a stain.

I'm glad the "issue" has already been pointed out here and filed as "intended graphics"

Well, actually just half apocalypse. The second half comes mid-game

Let us be fair, though -- these are end game scoring bonuses after all.
