I traded for a copy and just got around to playing. My son was interesting in the theme (although it seems as if he may enjoy building decks as much or as little as I do since we only played 3 rounds) ... as I was setting up I noticed I only have 13 kick cards. None were hidden in the main deck, so it appears I'm just down a few cards.

Will being down 3 kick cards adversely affect game play? I don't envision getting into a massive multiplayer game of this, but I did enjoy it when I played.

Depending on the heroes that you're using, it could matter (but rarely). I've played quite a few times (probably 30-40 games) and only remember running out of kicks 2 or maybe 3 times. Luckily, each base set comes with a full set of 16 and they're all interchangable, so if you're planning on ever getting Heroes United, Teen Titans or Forever Evil, you'll immediately have more than you'll need.

It'll be more significant if Man of Steel or Supergirl comes up in the line-up.
