Hi community,

maybe a "nerd" question - but in HOTS and also in Julius Caesar rules is not written which player get's the first card each round when cards are dealt. Any suggestions? I like both games very much, they are really gems, so I want to play them correct.

Thx

I suspect that you're going to hear a bunch of people say that it doesn't matter.

If you're concerned, I suggest dealing out two piles and then letting your opponent choose a pile.

Edit: I took my original edit back. Nevermind.

It only matters if it matters to you...

cards are luck, dealing yourself second has just as much luck and chance as dealing first...

However...its always polite to give before receiving...

SOLUTION
1. take turns each round to deal.
2. take cards at random from a pile.
3. Roll a dice
4. Rock paper scissors...

In other words...it doesn't matter.
